my background
i'm based in san francisco. prior, i grew up in the boston innovation ecosystem and was part of harvard's first masters in design engineering.
i focused on rapid prototyping and engineering impact at scale across complex systems.
some early projects
- explored engineered microbes for multi-pathway support to tackle obesity epidemic by curbing hunger and inducing satiety
- built a chat interface with google's first word2vec model for telehealth solutions in maternal healthcare applications.
- co-founder and ceo of a nutrition startup, using machine learning models to help patients with chronic conditions
my personal building experiences left me unsatisfied with the status quo in environments to support ambitious builds.
to bridge that gap, i've been designing and running accelerators the last 10+ years
- from there, i was the first program director hire at the knowledge society (tks), where i ran 200+ hackathon style sessions across topics like ai, brain computer interfaces, synbio, fusion, quantum computing and more. putting students first and designed from first principles, tks is what i wish i had as a teenager.
in the last 10 years, i've worked directly with hundreds of founders and innovators, and have designed programs that have supported thousands more.
i care about both personal performance and collective operational excellence. my style of coaching bridges individual support and being a technical sounding board.
